Mark is a Digital UX and DesignOps Manager at Red Hat with more than 18 years’ experience in the web/software industry. Serving as a mentor and team lead for designers as well as cross-departmental teams and developers, Mark focuses on championing web standards, developing design guidelines and user interface pattern libraries, and advocating for accessibility in web applications. Mark established and co-leads Red Hat’s partnership with the Governor Morehead School in knowledge sharing on UX research in accessibility through an Accessibility Specialist mentorship program.
Mark graduated from NC State University with a degree in visual art.
When not at work, Mark enjoys traveling, cooking, home brewing, and coaching soccer for NCFC Youth.
