From the desk of Board President, Francisco Chavez

In February, the Governor Morehead School Foundation Board members met for their annual retreat to renew their commitment to our mission, to go over last year’s successes and to strategize for 2025 goals and projects. I am happy to report that among other priorities, one of it is to broaden our communications and outreach efforts. We want more people throughout the state of North Carolina and beyond to know that we are here to support youth with blindness and visual impairments. This means that this year you’ll find us at more community events and with some upgrades to our website and communications.
